Getting started
How do I start?
Every program begins with an online intake, and each one has its own: the full functional-medicine workup, GLP-1 prescription management, DynaPak Supplements, and Acute Care for a urinary tract infection all start from a different survey. None of them require an existing membership to begin: membership changes the price and what is included, not whether you can start.
Which program should I start with if I'm not sure?
If you want a broad look at how your hormone, metabolic, and other systems interact before anything is prescribed, that is the full functional-medicine workup. It is also the one that opens the rest of the practice's programs to you. If you already know you want GLP-1 prescribing, a daily supplement pack, or treatment for a urinary tract infection, each of those has a shorter intake of its own.
The functional-medicine intake starts short: basic details, then a fuller questionnaire about your lifestyle and medical history arrives by email before your onboarding call. The asynchronous programs (GLP-1, DynaPak, and Acute Care) ask survey questions specific to that program, like your goals, symptoms, or what you already take, so a reviewer has enough to make a determination without a call.
Whether you keep the same clinician across visits depends on your membership tier: the membership page breaks down what each tier includes. If you start with the full functional-medicine workup, a Wellness Counselor (an experienced professional) leads your onboarding call and continues alongside the clinician who reviews your results. GLP-1, DynaPak, and Acute Care are asynchronous and do not include an onboarding call or a Wellness Counselor.
Licensed clinicians drawn from physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates carry out prescribing and care planning; experienced professionals fill wellness and coordination roles. The team page names everyone individually, credential included.
Who do I talk to for day-to-day questions versus a clinical decision?
If you start with the full functional-medicine workup, a Wellness Counselor (an experienced professional) is your first point of contact for onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing support questions, working alongside the clinician managing your plan. GLP-1, DynaPak, and Acute Care are asynchronous and do not include an onboarding call or a Wellness Counselor; how day-to-day questions are handled on those paths isn't something this site describes yet. Whatever path you start on, clinical decisions (whether to prescribe, what to prescribe, and any change to your plan) are made by your provider, not by wellness or support staff.
Membership and billing
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Anytime, from your member portal. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees: move up, move down, or pause as your needs change.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Membership and visits are HSA/FSA eligible, and we provide the documentation you need.
Do you take insurance?
Membership and visits are not billed through insurance; we provide detailed superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Lab work is different: your panels can be billed to your insurance, or you can pay our cash rate.
Does membership include my medication?
No. Membership covers your care: visits, panels, monitoring and support. Medications and supplements are billed separately at list price, whichever plan you are on.
Can I cover my partner?
Platinum Duo covers two adults in one household plan, each with their own panels, workup and care plan. Both adults need to be active patients.
What if I'm not sure which plan is right?
Start your intake and your care team will recommend a plan based on your goals; most members begin on Gold and adjust from there.
Prescriptions and safety
Will I always get a prescription if I apply?
No. Eligibility is a clinical determination, not a purchase decision. Not everyone who applies is prescribed medication; your provider may recommend a different approach, or none, based on your intake and history.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
Some therapies under the full functional-medicine workup involve controlled substances, which is why that program requires a full lab panel and a live visit with a provider before anything is prescribed. GLP-1 and Acute Care prescribing does not involve controlled substances.
If I'm prescribed a GLP-1 medication, do I get to choose which one?
No. If appropriate, your provider prescribes a GLP-1 medication based on your evaluation. The specific medication is a clinical decision your provider makes, not a choice presented to you in advance. The DynaFit program page has the full medication list and the FDA risk information for each one.
This site's own pages ask you to fill in a field in exactly one place: the newsletter sign-up, which takes a first name and an email address. There is no cart, no account, and no way to pay for anything here. Ordinary web-server logging happens in the background, the same as almost any website. The referral tool also records attribution details, like which link brought you here, in cookies and browser storage, and the chat widget asks for your name, email, and phone number before a conversation starts. The privacy policy has the details.
Chat is hosted by us, not a third party, and it is a good place for logistics questions like hours or how a program works. It is not the right place for medical details, so please do not type symptoms or diagnoses into chat; use your patient portal instead for anything that belongs in your medical record.
What if I need to reach someone about medical information?
Chat, phone, and email are for logistics questions, not clinical detail. Please don't send medical details here: for anything about your care, use your patient portal. That's the same guidance the contact page gives, and it applies everywhere on this site, not just there.
